Makeup haul | kiko & Mac

It was recently my birthday and so I went into London to go shopping. I really wanted to try two new stores to me: kiko and Mac. I had never bought anything from either of them and really wanted to try some products as they are highly talked about in the beauty world. Today I am going to show you what I got and tell you what I think because I have had them about a week now.

From kiko I bought an eye shadow pallet and four eye shadows to fill it. The pallet was £2.50 and the eye shadows were £3 each. I got the shades 212, 216, 217 and 219. I created a brown pallet with three shimmery shades and one Matt brown. The quality of these shadows is good and they last well. They are very easy to blend and are really nice to work with. For the price, these are excellent and I would defiantly recommend them.

From Mac i firstly bought the studio fix powder in NW20. This is a really nice powder. It keeps your makeup on whilst giving a slight coverage. This is great for when you are out as a top up. It is however expensive at £20.

Finally from Mac I also got a lipstick. I got patisserie which is a lustre lipstick. It is creamy and easy to apply. It doesn't last a very long time but a small amount of colour stays on for a while. I also got given crosswords which is a cream sheen which is more red toned but a nice subtle colour. The consistencies of both these lipsticks are very nice and creamy and they are very pleasant on the lips. I would recommend these colours a lot. At £15 for a high quality lipstick it is not too overpriced.

I hope you enjoyed this small makeup haul and that it helped you to see what products are great to try if you are a beginner.
